What's Next?
- JEE Advanced (for IITs): Top ~2.5 lakh Paper 1 qualifiers are eligible — registration opens shortly after Session 2 result
- JoSAA Counselling: For NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs — registration begins after JEE Advanced results; uses best NTA score of both sessions
- State Counselling: Many states (UP, MP, Rajasthan etc.) use JEE Main score for state engineering admissions
- Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning): Used for NATA-alternative admissions; check individual institution counselling schedules
Pro Tip: JoSAA uses the best NTA score from both sessions, so even if Session 1 was better, check your Session 2 result carefully. For JEE Advanced eligibility, only Session 2 Paper 1 candidates who meet the cutoff qualify — check the official JEE Advanced eligibility notice. Keep your scorecard PDF saved securely as it is required throughout the entire counselling process.
