Pro Tip: SSC JHT is one of the few Central Government exams specifically for Hindi language scholars. With only 84 vacancies and a two-paper exam structure, the competition is modest compared to SSC CGL or CHSL. Candidates with a Master's in Hindi or English and strong bilingual translation skills are ideal for this role. For SHT posts, the 3-year experience requirement further limits competition. If you're a Hindi/English literature graduate, this is a rare and highly stable career opportunity in Central Government service.
