Educational Qualification
- Degree Courses Accepted: M.Sc / BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Systems
- OR: MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
- OR: BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science / IT) from a recognized university
- English Proficiency: Minimum 60% marks in English at Class 10 OR minimum 60% aggregate in Class 12
- Candidates in their final year of degree are also eligible to apply

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on academic performance in qualifying degree — candidates shortlisted by Indian Navy HQ
- Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview: 5-day selection process at one of the SSB centres — includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR), Picture Perception, GTO tasks, Psychology tests, and Personal Interview
- Medical Examination: Conducted at INHS Asvini or designated military hospitals; must meet Navy's medical standards
- Final Merit List: Drawn based on SSB marks and medical fitness

Stay physically fit as the medical standards are strict.
